Huey Percy Newton (17. tammikuuta 1942 – 22. elokuuta 1989) oli Mustat Pantterit -järjestön ideologinen johtaja ja perustajajäsen yhdessä Bobby Sealen kanssa. Järjestö perustettiin lokakuussa 1966. Hän sai muodollisesti suoritetuksi koulun loppuun, mutta ei siitä huolimatta osannut koulun päätyttyä lukea vaan oppi vasta sitkeän itseopiskelun kautta. Opiskeluaikana Bay Arealla hän osallistui poliittiseen toimintaan. Hän luki Frantz Fanonin, Malcolm X:n, Mao Tse-tungin ja Che Guevaran teoksia. Juuri tänä aikana hän perusti Bobby Sealen kanssa Mustat Pantterit -järjestön.


Newtonin ampui 24-vuotias Tyrone Robinson, joka tuomittiin 32 vuodeksi vankilaan. Robinsonin väitettiin olleen tunnettu oklahomalainen huumekauppias ja murhan liittyneen huumekauppoihin.

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon.
