Skippy the Bush Kangaroo ) on australialainen televisiosarja, joka kertoo villin kengurun Skippyn ja Sonny-nimisen pojan ystävyydestä. 1960-luvun menestyssarjaa esitettiin yli 80 maassa. Päähenkilöä, Sonny Hammondia näytteli Gary Pankhurst. Tunnussävelmän sävelsi Eric Jupp. [1] Suomessa sarja alkoi YLE TV1:ltä tammikuussa 1968 nimellä Kenguru ja poika . Sarja alkoi uudelleen TV2:lla tammikuussa 1970, tällä kertaa nimellä Skippy . [2] Ruotsissa sarjaa ei esitetty, sillä psykologit katsoivat olevan lapsille vahingollista, että sarjassa annettiin ymmärtää eläinten osaavan puhua.
