Stratonike I (k. 253 eaa.) oli makedonialainen prinsessa ja Persian kuningatar. Hänen isänsä oli Makedonian kuningas Demetrios I. Stratonike oli naimisissa Seleukos I:n ja myöhemmin tämän pojan Antiokhos I:n kanssa.


Stratoniken ja Seleukoksen avioliitto solmittiin vuonna 300 eaa. Samalla Demetrios ja Seleukos solmivat liiton. Vuonna 293/292 eaa. Demetrios ei kuitenkaan enää ollut uhka Seleukokselle. Antiokhos oli Seleukoksen ja hänen ensimmäisen vaimonsa Apaman poika. Kerrotaan että Stratonike ja Antiokhos rakastuivat toisiinsa. Seleukoksen kerrotaan luovuttaneen Stratoniken pojalleen vaimoksi julkisessa seremoniassa. Tämän jälkeen Antiokhos nimitettiin Seleukoksen valtakunnan itäisten maakuntien hallitsijaksi.


Stratonike oli ilmeisesti arvostettu nainen. Hänen tiedetään suosineen Atargaris-kulttia Hieropoliissa. Joonian liitto nimitti juhlan hänen mukaansa. Stratonike uhrasi Artemiille Sardiissa. Hänen tiedetään uhranneen useasti Apollonille Deloksella. Hänen kuolemansa vuonna 253 eaa. on yksi harvoista ei-kuninkaallisten henkilöiden kuolemista, jotka on kirjattu babylonilaisissa kronikoissa.

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon.
