Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters on Toei Animationin tuottama animesarja. Sarjaa esitettiin 52 jakson verran 1. lokakuuta 2016 - 30. syyskuuta 2017 välisenä aikana. Sarja on seitsemäs Digimon-sarja, jota pidetään myös omana erillisenä sarjanaan. Sarjassa esiintyy digimonien sijaan appmoneja eli applihirviöitä, mobiilisovelluksista syntyviä tekoälyolentoja. Digivicen sijaan appmonit kehittyvät korkeammalle tasolle Applidrive-nimisellä laitteella. Appmonien kehitysasteet ovat Standard Grade, Super Grade, Ultimate Grade ja God Grade, jotka vastaavat digimonien Rookie, Champion, Ultimate ja Mega-muotoja.

Tarina sijoittuu vuoteen 2045, jolloin teknologia on kehittynyt merkittävästi ja maailmanlaajuisessa internetverkostossa asuu Appmoneja (アプリモンスターズ Apurimonsutāzu) eli Applihirviöitä. Haru Shinkai huomaa Appmonin älypuhelimessaan ja herättää sen henkiin Applidrive-nimisellä laitteella. Appmon paljastuu Gatchmoniksi ja ryhtyy Harun kumppaniksi. Gatchmon kertoo Harulle tekoäly Leviathanista, joka yrittää muuttaa kaikki Appmonit pahoiksi. Haru kohtaa myöhemmin muita Appmonin omaavia ihmisiä Eri Karanin, Torajirou Asukan, Yūjin Ōzoran ja Rei Katsuran, joka etsii Leviathanin sieppaamaa veljeään. Yhdessä heidän täytyy pysäyttää Leviathan ja palauttaa kahden maailman välinen tasapaino.

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon.
