Paul Kammerer


Paul Kammerer (17. elokuuta 1880 Wien – 23. syyskuuta 1926 Puchberg am Schneeberg) oli itävaltalainen biologi, joka pyrki 1910-luvulla kumoamaan perinnöllisyystieteen perusteet väittämällä, että hankitutkin ominaisuudet voivat periytyä. Hän kävi asiasta pitkän kiistan Gregor Mendelin perinnöllisyyskäsitystä kannattavien biologien kanssa. Vuonna 1926 Kammererin todistusaineisto paljastettiin väärennetyksi.[1]


Kammererin tutkimat kätilösammakot (Alytes obstetricans) kutevat maalla, eikä niiden etujaloissa sen vuoksi ole kutukyhmyjä. Vedessä kutevilla sammakkolajeilla on kutukyhmyt, koska kyhmyjen avulla koiras saa vedessäkin pitävän otteen naaraasta. Kammerer kasvatti kätilösammakoitaan muutaman sukupolven ajan vedessä, niin etteivät ne päässeet kutemaan maalle. Kammerer väitti, että tänä aikana koiraille kehittyi kutukyhmyt.[1]


Vuonna 1926 yhdysvaltalainen tutkija Gladwyn Kingsley Noble kävi Kammererin laboratoriossa ja havaitsi, että kutukyhmyiltä näyttäneet elimet olivat ihon alle ruiskutettua tussia. Kammerer vakuutti, ettei hän ole väärentänyt aineistoa, mutta tiedeyhteisö alkoi pitää häntä huijarina. Kammerer ampui itsensä.[1]

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon. Tämä peli esiintyy myös nimillä Piimä , Mummonkiusaus ja Kala . lähde? Aasi on myös nimitys toiselle pallopelille. Peliin tarvitaan vähintään kaksi pelaajaa sekä pallo.
