Maastopyöräily

Maastoyksipyöräily (engl. mountain unicycling) on pyöräilyä maastossa yksipyöräisellä polkupyörällä. Maastoyksipyöräilyssä ajetaan maastossa samaan tapaan kuin tavallisessa maastopyöräilyssä. Ajaa voidaan metsässä poluilla, avokallioilla, hiekkateillä, jäällä, lumessa ja vuorilla[1].



Lajin historia |


Maastoyksipyöräily syntyi 1980-luvulla itsenäisesti eri yksipyöräilijöiden toimesta jotka opittuaan ajamaan tasaisella, kaipasivat lisää haastetta ja siirtyivät ajamaan maastoon poluille ja vuorille[2]. Yksi maastoyksipyöräilyn pioneereista oli George Peck, joka julkaisi vuonna 1990 opetusvideon "Rough terrain unicycling"[3] joka innoitti muita lajin harrastamiseen. Muita maastoyksipyöräilyn pioneereja ovat mm. John Foss ja Kris Holm.



Välineet |


Yksipyörässä ajajan koko paino on yhden renkaan päällä. Tästä syystä tavalliset yksipyöräiset eivät kestä maastoajoa. Maastoyksipyörissä on erittäin vahva akseli, 36-reikäinen vanne, vahvat poljinkammet, kestävä satula, platform-polkimet ja leveä nappularengas. Usein mukana on myös hydraulinen käsijarru, jota käytetään pyörän hidastamiseen jyrkissä alamäissä. Tunnettuja maastoyksipyörien valmistajia ovat mm. Kris Holm[4], Nimbus[5] ja Qu-Ax[6].

Aasi (pallopeli) Navigointivalikko

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon. Tämä peli esiintyy myös nimillä Piimä , Mummonkiusaus ja Kala . lähde? Aasi on myös nimitys toiselle pallopelille. Peliin tarvitaan vähintään kaksi pelaajaa sekä pallo.
