Historia |


SikTh perustettiin Lontoossa 1999, ja ensimmäisen vuoden aikana yhtyeen jäsenet vaihtuivat usein. Lopullinen kokoonpano muodostui vuonna 2001. SikTh sekoitti musiikissaan sellaisia genrejä, kuten thrash metalia, metalcorea, death metalia ja power metalia. Lisäksi heidän musiikissaan on runsaasti progressiivisia elementtejä ja soitanta on hyvin teknistä. SikThiä pidetään djent-suuntauksen uranuurtajana Meshuggahin ohella[1][2][3][4]


Toukokuussa 2007 yhtyeen laulajat Mikee Goodman ja Justin Hill ilmoittivat eroavansa yhtyeestä kuluvan vuoden aikana henkilökohtaisten syiden ja muiden musiikkiprojektiensa vuoksi. He erosivat syyskuussa 2007. Muut yhtyeen jäsenet ilmoittivat yhtyeen hajoamisesta toukokuussa 2008. 15. tammikuuta 2012 SikThille luotiin viralliset Facebook-fanisivut, missä ei vielä kerrottu yhtyeen palaamisesta.[5] Vuoden 2014 alussa SikTh ilmoitti esiintyvänsä samana vuonna Download-festivaalilla. Keikasta tulleen hyvän palautteen vuoksi yhtye palasi studioon vuonna 2015.[6] EP nimeltä Opacities julkaistiin sen vuoden joulukuussa. Justin Hill erosi vuonna 2016 ja hänet korvasi Joe Rosser.[7] Vuonna 2018 julkaistiin SikThin kolmas studioalbumi The Future in Whose Eyes?[3]

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon. Tämä peli esiintyy myös nimillä Piimä , Mummonkiusaus ja Kala . lähde? Aasi on myös nimitys toiselle pallopelille. Peliin tarvitaan vähintään kaksi pelaajaa sekä pallo.
