Pohjantähden ritarikunta on ruotsalainen ritarikunta, joka perustettiin Fredrik I:n valtakaudella vuonna 1748.


Kunniamerkki jaetaan viiteen luokkaan, ja se jaetaan vain ansioituneille ulkomaalaisille. Kunniamerkin kunniamerkkinauha oli perustettaessa täysin musta, mutta sen väritys muutettiin vuonna 1974 siniseksi keltaisin reunuksin.[1] Tuolloin ritarikunnan merkeistä poistettiin myös suurristin ketju.


Vuodesta 1975 alkaen kunniamerkkejä on jaettu ainoastaan ulkomaalaisille, ei enää Ruotsin kansalaisille. Vuodesta 1995 lähtien kuningas on voinut myöntää arvomerkin myös eräille kuninkaallisen perheen jäsenelle.lähde?


Ritarikunnan tunnuslause on Nescit Occasum, jolla viitataan Pohjantähteen, joka ei koskaan laske.
