Spliethoff's Bevrachtingskantoor B.V. on Johan Frederik Spliethoffin vuonna 1921 perustama alankomaalainen varustamokonserni. Johanin poika Herman Spliethoff tilasi vuonna 1946 yhtiölle ensimmäisen uutena hankitun aluksen. Alus (M/S Keizersgracht) sai nimensä amsterdamilaiselta kanavalta, jonka varrella konsernin toimisto sijaitsi. Tuosta lähtien Spliethoff on nimennyt laivansa kanavien (holl. gracht) mukaan. Nimistä on muodostunut yrityksen tavaramerkki. Konserni pääasiassa kuljettaa metsäteollisuuden tuotteita ja kontteja ympäri maailman sekä viestintä-, kaasu- ja öljyteollisuuden suuriin hankkeisiin liittyviä erikoiskuljetuksia.[2]


Kesäkuussa 2002 Spliethoffiin kokonaan omistama tytäryhtiö Transfennica Nederland B.V. osti enemmistöosuuden (51 %) suomalaisen Transfennican osakkeista.[1] Transfennica Nederland B.V. perustettiin tämän yrityskaupan vuoksi.[1] Transfennica on johtavassa asemassa metsäteollisuuden logistiikkapalveluiden tarjoajana ja tuotteita kuljettavana ro-ro-varustamona Suomessa.


Syyskuussa 2003 konserni osti osake-enemmistön alankomaalaisesta Wijnne & Barends -varustamosta.[3] Wijnne & Barends on erikoistunut lähimerenkulkuun.[2] Vuonna 2016 Spliethoff osti suomalaisen Bore -varustamon Rettig Groupilta.[4][5]

PallopelitLeikit pallolla Aasi on yksinkertainen pallolla pelattava pallopeli, joka toimii lasten ja nuorten ajanvietteenä. Peliin tarvitaan pallo ja kolme pelaajaa. Kaksi pelaajaa ovat kaukana toisistaan (noin 10m) ja kolmas pelaaja on heidän keskellään. Kaukaisimmat pelaajat heittelevät palloa keskenään, ja keskimmäinen pelaaja, aasi, yrittää siepata pallon itselleen. Jos aasi saa pallon kiinni, hän pääsee sen pelaajan paikalle joka heitti pallon. Tämä peli esiintyy myös nimillä Piimä , Mummonkiusaus ja Kala . lähde? Aasi on myös nimitys toiselle pallopelille. Peliin tarvitaan vähintään kaksi pelaajaa sekä pallo.
